Failure strikes

In the dreary desert of anguish
Even the might mightiest relinquish

Under the shade of sun itself
The soothing heat of winter dwelf

Upcoming are many, above are few
Struggling are less, more are new

The determination waivers
Far before you turn the tables
Though we know winners are paivers

In the noise of the engine and the steam
Ruined lies belief and self esteem

Soon before the failure strikes
Mind play it's game and announces on mics

Life is more of a game
With restrictions on lame
An objective of fame
And a goal to tame

Falls are common in here
But only "once more" doer is a player

So,  before you quit on what you begun
Remember you had already half won
