A Poet's stand

Since long seekers learned
the pious past of cold and burnt

The gilded pages brought the glory to withhold
laying the foundation of modernization to unfold

On it's back grew the tycoon, the machine and global village
Towards a better future, as it could envisage

Well, things did not turn to be exactly the same
the culture of pen and paper was forgotten in the fame

The shunned past must come up again in the present
preach the full moon's beauty and also the importance of moon crescent

The traditional tantrum is hard
and that surely is not our part

Digitalization has come a long way
to a point much above the foundation that starts to sway

The time has changed and so has the mind
it is the time, the times changed and so does the kind
